The 2022 NFL preseason began Aug. 4 with the Patriots vs. Giants between the Jaguars and the Raiders. That was the only contest played following the first week of training camp, as is customary.
Now, Week 1 of the preseason is set to commence. It will do so with two Thursday night matchups, the first of which features the Patriots and Giants. New England will play host to New York in this battle of frequent preseason foes. The Giants and first-year head coach Brian Daboll are planning to play their starters, meaning that fans will get to see quarterback Daniel Jones in action. Bill Belichick is predictably keeping the Patriots’ plans more secretive, so it remains to be seen how much quarterback Mac Jones might play.

Even if both teams’ starters see only brief action, there will still be plenty of excitement for NFL fans. The Giants have two top-10 picks ready to make their preseason debuts: edge rusher Kayvon Thibodeaux and offensive tackle Evan Neal. Second-round receiver Wan’Dale Robinson will also see action. The Patriots’ first-round pick — guard Cole Strange — also seems likely to debut. That said, New England fans will be focused more on the performance of second-round receiver Tyquan Thornton and Day 3 running backs Pierre Strong and Kevin Harris.

Patriots vs. Giants will kick off at 7 p.m. ET. The game will be played at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass. It will be the first Week 1 preseason game to kick off and the second to be played overall, following the Jaguars vs. Raiders Patriots vs. Giants on Aug. 4.

FuboTV has rapidly increased the number of locations where they stream the live local NBC network. Currently, FuboTV carries NBC in all major TV markets in the US, so you can watch the Ravens play. Chiefs on NFL’s opening night. The FuboTV app is available on major platforms, including Roku, Chromecast, Fire TV, Apple TV, and more.
YouTube TV
YouTube TV is another great option to watch the game as they offer NBC live. YouTubeTV offers live NBC with its streaming service in all markets in the US.
Youtube TV supports Android, iOS, Apple TV, Fire TV, Chromecast, and more. The YouTube TV app isn’t available on Roku. However, users can use YouTube TV through the YouTube app on Roku devices.
DIRECTV Stream
DIRECTV Stream also streams NBC live, so you can watch the Ravens take on the Chiefs. NBC is available through all DIRECTV Stream plans. The most affordable is the “Entertainment” package for $69.99 a month, along with a ton of cable TV and other broadcast networks. NBC offers NBC in over half the markets in the US. Peacock
Peacock will stream the NFL Opener and NBC Sunday Night Football every week live. To watch, you will need to subscribe to the “Peacock Premium” tier, which starts at $4.99 per month.
You can stream the game on your TV or mobile device using the Peacock app. The streaming service supports Roku, iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Apple T.V. 4K and Apple T.V. HD, Xbox One S and Xbox One X, Playstation 4, Android devices, Android TV, Chromecast, and Chromecast built-in, Xfinity Flex 4K and Amazon Fire TV or Fire Sticks.
Vidgo
Vidgo is a newer Streaming service that offers fairly competitive pricing over other Live streaming services. The only catch is they do not currently offer a DVR. Hopefully, that will change in the future.
Sling TV
NFL Network is available on Sling TV, so you can watch games branded as Thursday Night Football. NFL Network is available as part of the SLING Blue service for $35 per month. Sling TV is available on Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Chromecast, and more, so it’s not a problem to enjoy it on a TV, tablet, computer, or other smart devices.

Amazon Prime Video
Amazon Prime Video will simulcast Thursday Night Football in weeks 5 through 15 (except for Thanksgiving day in week 12). The service costs $12.99 per month after a 30-day free trial, but you won’t be charged if you cancel before the trial expires.
While a subscription to Amazon Prime provides access to Thursday Night Football, along with thousands of movies and TV shows through Prime video, there are also a ton of other benefits like free shipping on prime eligible purchases on Amazon. Giants vs Patriots live streams in the US
In the US, Giants vs Patriots is going to be broadcast on NFL Network, which is available on two of our favorite streaming services fuboTV and Sling TV. The game starts at 7 p.m. ET/ 5 p.m. PT Thursday (August 11th). Unlike most of the Thursday Night Football matchups, this one is NOT available on Amazon Prime Video.
If FOX, ESPN, NBC and NFL Network have typically been enough to get you all the football you need, you could rely on Sling (which doesn’t include CBS, and has RedZone in the Sports Extra add-on). You can get CBS NFL games via Paramount Plus, if you want.
If watching solely on your mobile device is OK, then check out NFL Plus. This $4.99 per month(opens in new tab) service allows you to watch live games on your phone or tablet. During the regular season, local and primetime games will be included in NFL Plus(opens in new tab).
The more comprehensive package comes from fuboTV, as it has all five of the main channels you’ll want: CBS, ESPN, FOX, NBC and the NFL Network. That’s why it’s one of the best streaming services.
Giants vs Patriots live streams in the UK
Unfortunately, if you’re an NFL Fan across the pond, you cannot watch Giants vs Patriots live stream as it is not being carried by Sky Sports(opens in new tab) .
